Faith OwuorChief of Party at Farm Africa
Faith is an international expert in livestock in the Horn of Africa with over 10 years work experience in international livestock development in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia and South Sudan.
She has deep insights of the dairy, poultry and pastoral production and market systems and related policy environments in the Horn of Africa from the point of view of the farmers, pastoralists, input service providers and governments in these countries.
Faith is currently working at Farm Africa, an international development organization as the Chief of Party of cross border Livestock for Livelihoods project. Previously, she worked for Heifer international, Oxfam GB, Land O’ Lakes and World Vision where she partnered with international and national technology companies to develop tech-based solutions to address some of the constraints in the livestock sector.
She is a member of the technical working committee of the AU-IBAR livestock experts in Africa.
Faith is a Commonwealth scholar with an MSc. in Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health from the University of London.
