Camilla Ley Valentin
Bio
Camilla has a background within the shipping industry where she started her career with positions in both Denmark and in the US. Later she moved on to the IT, consulting, and internet industry where she has held various positions within executive management, including the areas of strategy, software architecture, business development, and marketing since the late 1990s. After a comprehensive global, corporate career, Camilla co-founded Queue-it as her first software product startup.
For her role in Queue-it, Camilla received the Danish Female Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2012 – as the first IT woman in the history of the award. While winning the award was mainly due to the Queue-it success story, her contribution to getting more women interested in starting a technology business also played a role. She has since been announced as one of the fifty most inspiring women in European tech by Inspiring Fifty, which was decided by a panel of judges including Ellenore Angelidis, Director of Diversity at Amazon, Nina Dos Santos, Business Anchor at CNN, and Shari Doherty, Partner at Atomico.
