With an impressive track record in both the public, private, and academic spheres, and with her innovation-oriented mindset she has been a driving force behind technological advancements and policy changes, shaping the landscape of the industry.

Throughout her career, Charmaine has demonstrated her exceptional expertise in forging successful partnerships between an ecosystem of stakeholders. Notably, Charmaine served as a key member of the President Ramaphosa’s 4IR commission, where she played a central role in shaping the nation's approach to harnessing emerging technologies for economic and societal progress. She also serves as a board member of the International Womens Forum of South Africa, We Think Code and as a Chairperson of Cisco’s Charitable Trust Foundation. 

She holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), which has been a significant asset in her journey as a strategic leader. Her educational background, coupled with her extensive experience in the ICT sector, has equipped her with a keen business acumen and a comprehensive understanding of the global technology landscape.
