Bio
Francesca has over 20 years of telecom industry experience and is a leader in consumer innovation and digital transformation. Since 2013, she's been a non-executive director in public and private companies across Europe, emphasizing data-driven innovation and human capital. She's an active business angel, part of Italy's largest angel club, and advises start-ups. She's been honoured with awards, including the Marisa Bellisario Golden Apple in 2010, Manager of the Year by AIDDA in 2013, and recognition in the 2021 InspiringFifty list of inspiring women in Italian technology.
Francesca earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Naples and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She later earned a bachelor's and master's degree in Developmental Psychology from the University of Milan-Bicocca and, more recently, a master's degree in Marine Sciences.
In addition to her business interests, Francesca is a conservation volunteer, a certified dive master, and a committed mother of four teenage daughters.
