Francesca Zarri

Born in 1969, Francesca took on the role of Director of Technology, R&D & Digital at Eni in July 2020. Her Eni journey started in 1997 at Agip S.p.A as a reservoir modeler and petroleum engineer, with a stint in Eni-operated assets in Scotland's North Sea in 2000.

In 2004, she led the Adriatic Offshore Projects department, based in Ravenna District, and in 2006, she oversaw the Production Optimization Technology Department, which included most of Eni's Laboratories in Bolgiano. From 2007 to 2010, she served as the Project and Development Director of Eni Congo, managing substantial oil, gas, and power projects.

Her roles diversified in 2011, branching into procurement as the Head of American Region and Procurement Services, representing Eni in the South Stream Project's Commercial Committee. In 2013, she returned to upstream projects, overseeing West Africa Projects Monitoring and Technical Coordination, and later leading Eni Congo as Development Projects Director and President of Enrico Mattei School in Pointe Noire.

From 2017, she headed the Italian Southern District and later became the Senior Vice President of Italian Activities Coordination until November 2019. Since April 2020, she has held key positions as the President of Eniservizi, President and CEO of SPI, and Eni's representative in Assomineraria. She has also been a board member of various Eni subsidiaries in Italy and abroad since 2014.
