Lisa Barsotti
Bio
Dr. Lisa Barsotti is a Principal Research Scientist at the MIT Kavli Institute. She received her Ph.D in Physics from University of Pisa (Italy) in 2006, working on the gravitational-wave detector Virgo, located near Pisa. She moved to the United States in 2007, where she joined the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
