Dr. Hisham is a Lead 5G Consultant in the Telecoms Professional Services organization at Amazon Web Services leading engagements with Telecom customers globally around Edge, Private wireless and 5G network cloudification. He has over 15 years of experience in the telecoms industry and is a 5G expert with notable contributions to the industry and academia and award-winning publications. Previously, Hisham has led global 5G Enterprise strategy for Vodafone Group and had leading roles in its R&D organization shaping 4G and 5G technologies. He also worked for Ericsson, Orange and Tieto Consulting. Hisham has 25+ patents, academic paper and book chapters. Hisham holds a PhD in wireless communications from King’s College London.
