After graduating from METU Industrial Engineering, Isik started to work in TUBITAK (THE SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH COUNCIL OF TURKEY) as a R&D Engineer while he was enrolled for Information Systems and Industrial Engineering Master Programs. He held various managerial positions in various Telecom companies such as Superonline, Turkcell and Tellcom. He was the Global Business Development Director and Country Manager of Neomobile, an international mobile commerce company. Together with his partners, he acquired the mobile payment arm of the company that was rebranded as Payguru providing alternative payment services like DCB, Bank Transfer and ATM Payments for approximately 1500 merchants. He has been the Chairman of the company since 2015.
