Heading the P&L Financial & Enabling Services at Telefonica Germany, Martin Schurig, together with his team, is enabling third parties to do business with the customer base of Germany’s largest mobile operator. He is responsible for a portfolio that includes A2P messaging products like SMS and RCS, carrier billing and app distribution services. In addition, he is taking care of the monetization of network APIs and anonymized customer data.

Martin is with Telefonica Germany since 2005 and held various positions in product management and business development in recent years. He was mainly responsible for the set-up of the financial and enabling services business unit of Telefonica Germany and led various initiatives in that area.
