Apurva MohanIoT Security Global Lead, Principal Security Architect at Schlumberger
Apurva Mohan is the IoT Security Global Lead and Principal Security Architect for Industrial IoT at Schlumberger. At Schlumberger he leads security initiatives to design security strategies and develop secure architectures for industrial IoT systems. He also leads internal consulting, security R&D, and technology evaluation groups to develop advanced technologies and to introduce external technologies to Schlumberger services.
Before coming to Schlumberger, Apurva was a Lead Research Scientist at Honeywell Global Labs where he co-led several multi-million dollar program on securing industrial networks and connected devices. He has served as Principal Investigator on several US government grant programs. Apurva has authored over 30 research articles, industry white papers, and published technical reports. He has 8 patents (granted and pending) to his credit. He presents frequently at industry events and volunteers his time organizing events for the technical community and as a technical program member at international conferences.
Apurva holds a PhD and Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering focusing on cyber security from Georgia Tech, where he was a TI:GER scholar.
