Ash has over 14 years of experience assisting senior executives and investors with investment due diligence, corporate strategy, financial modeling, operational improvements, and product development. He was the first employee at CMA Strategy Consulting and has conducted over 200 projects with the firm, including financial and strategic due diligence assignments on over $30B of transactions and go-to-market and product roadmap engagements generating over $3B in additional revenue for his clients.
In IoT, Ash has led many projects across LAN and WAN equipment and service providers, satellites, security, MVNOs, telematics, remote kiosks, digital signage, aviation, augmented reality, and other segments. As an engineer, he has also developed his own IoT technology, experience which he marries with his business acumen to drive deeper insights for his clients.
Prior to joining CMA in 2007, Ash ran the Cambridge Public Internet project – Cambridge’s muniwireless and digital inclusion project – and consulted to other municipalities on municipal broadband issues. Ash also served as an analyst for the Federal Government, covering defense and aerospace issues, where his reports were read by senior White House, Congressional, and military officials.
Ash holds an executive MBA from Babson College, where he graduated Cum Laude while working full time as a Manager at CMA. He also holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from MIT, and has passed the Level I CFA exam.
