Smart City Program Lead at Battelle Memorial Institute
Dominie Garcia leads Battelle’s Smart City Program, bringing a combination of strategy, planning, organization design, and connected and smart systems expertise to the growing smart cities community. She has been spent much of the last decade working with the USDOT, as well as commercial and regional organizations in the areas of intelligent transportation systems, and connected vehicle research, development, and deployment.
Dr. Garcia has been engaged in the smart cities community for the past several years, participating in many of the nascent working groups and industry collaborations to define the smart city ecosystem and begin the process of envisioning, planning, building coalitions, and preparing for deployments of smart city technologies.
