Marylin is an industrial & systems engineer passionate about improving manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and increasing efficiency/profitability through digitalization, automation, data analysis, process improvement/optimization and standardization. She also understands how strong partnerships are key to a successful business, and therefore developing long term supplier-customer win-win partnerships also motivates her.
In her current role, Marylin supports initiatives across Daimler Truck's manufacturing plants that drive DTNA toward Industry 4.0 and connected factories. She leads activities that deliver modern Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), improved Quality Feedback Loops (QFLs), and stronger integration with Shopfloor Automation. Overall, she supports the digital transformation efforts lead by IT and in alignment with the OSV (Operations and Specialty Vehicles) Playbook on core projects.
Her educational background is in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, culminating in a doctoral degree. Her strongest experience background is in industrial and systems engineering, with 12+ of practice in Operations Management, Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving, Standardization, Process & SQDCM Optimization, Systems Integrations to Operations, Logistics Integration to Operations, Project Management, Quality Control, and overall Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma practices.
