Alex founded Alcuris while studying Engineering at Loughborough University. The motivation and inspiration came following his grandfather's diagnosis of dementia. Alex realised that the products designed for older and vulnerable individuals like his grandfather were, at the time, entirely reactive and didn't provide the family with peace of mind. Alcuris was created to set the standard in a digital care eco-system that connects people, data and services.
