Andrew Milroy

Andrew Milroy has responsibility for driving and managing Ovum’s consulting activities in the APAC region.

Andrew has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector and has held leadership roles at IDC, NelsonHall and most recently, Frost & Sullivan. He has global experience, having worked in Europe, the United States, Australia and Asia. Andrew is based in Singapore, where he has lived for the past 7 years. In those 7 years, Andrew has developed a deep understanding of the business dynamics within different countries in APAC. Andrew has a valuable grasp of the complexity and diversity within the region. He has worked closely with clients in all the major APAC economies which gives him some unique perspectives.

Andrew is well known as a technology thought leader and a speaker in the APAC region and is frequently invited to participate at major events. He is also widely quoted in the press and often appears on broadcast media, in particular, the BBC, CNBC, Bloomberg and Channel News Asia.

Andrew holds a BSc from Newcastle University, an MA from Middlesex University, and an MBA from MGSM in Sydney, Australia. He also became a member of the UK-based Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Andrew lives with his wife and 2 daughters in Singapore. He enjoys reading about history and philosophy and is also a long suffering Sheffield United supporter.
