Choon Jeng has more than 20 years of work experience in Internet Of Things (IoT), Consulting Services, Digital Transformation, Smart City, Supply Chain Management, System Integration and Program Management. He has extensive Management and Technology Consultancy experience across multiple industries including Public Sector, High Tech, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Real Estate, Telecommunications; and Oil and Gas in Asia Pacific Region.

In his current role with Singtel, Choon Jeng is responsible for Business Development and Partnership for Group Enterprise, IoT Business Group. He works with major Government Agencies and Ministries as well Large Enterprises who are looking to leverage on the IoT solutions to drive Nation- or Company-wide digital transformation. He is also working closely with the IoT ecosystem partners globally to enrich Singtel IoT offerings and capabilities.

Prior to joining Singtel, Choon Jeng led the Smart City / IoT Consulting Services in Cisco and Huawei. As Global Practice Leader, he was responsible for Practice Development and Business IT Consultancy delivery for IoT and Smart Cities – serving Huawei’s Top 27 Global Carrier Customers including Chine Mobile, China Unicom, Vodafone, British Telecom, Orange, Etisalat, Telefonica and American Movil.

In his role with Cisco, Choon Jeng led the Internet of Things, Smart City and Smart Nation engagements in various countries like Philippines, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Singapore, Japan and Korea. Most recently, completed iconic projects in Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and Korea where Cisco Consulting Services are working with the government authorities / private developers to build Smart + Connected mix-used township and commercial buildings; one of which is a 97 sqkm smart city and another consists of the first six-star luxury hotel in the country.

Prior to Cisco, Choon Jeng spent 6 years in Deloitte Consulting as Senior Manager, Supply Chain Solutions, Commercial Services (CS), South-East Asia. He was responsible for the Supply Chain Solutions business development and project delivery, contributing to consulting sales and revenue in excess of US$3m per year for South-East Asia.

Choon Jeng holds a Masters Degree from Nanyang Technology University, Singapore from the Mechanical and Production Engineering faculty.
