Patsy Wang Vice President, Business Transformation at OCBC Bank


Patsy is currently the Vice President of Business Transformation in OCBC Bank. She is responsible for developing and executing digital branch and wealth transformation agendas to make banking simpler, better and faster for customers. In her role, Patsy leads a team of innovators to reimagine the digital client engagement journeys across onboarding, advisory and sales for various products and services. By harnessing the power of design thinking and technology, Patsy plays a lead role in process redesign as well as the conceptualisation of new operating models to future proof the business. Patsy was previously the Director of Customer Proposition and Service Delivery in Retail & Private Banking team at Australia New Zealand Bank (ANZ). She was responsible for the embedding the customer value proposition for High Networth, Affluent and Emerging Affluent client segments across 9 markets in Asia. Prior to joining ANZ, Patsy was with DBS, where had Regional responsibility for the Sales and Distribution of Wealth products. She was the key business lead of the “RM Mobility” change management agenda and played an instrumental role in leveraging design thinking, agile and lean innovation principles to define the frontline digital strategy across key markets in Asia. She developed the “DBS Relationship Manager Workbench” mobile application for relationship managers in Singapore and Taiwan to conduct Wealth conversations on the go. Patsy also spearheaded the development of sales productivity, reward and recognition frameworks, ensuring consistency and compliance across the network. Patsy gained significant experience in the Retail and Wealth Management business after spending more than 9 years at Standard Chartered Bank. During her tenure, she worked in both country roles (China) as well as global roles where she had responsibility for delivering differentiated customer value propositions for a variety of segments within the Global Priority and International Banking team. In her last role, she was responsible for the International Banking client segment in over 30 countries across Asia, Africa and Middle East.Patsy graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies (Second Class Honours) degree from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore with a major in Banking and Finance. Her interests include travel, running, volunteering, cooking and feeding others!
