Patty is an Innovation and Venture Catalyst in CCL’s Commercialization and Innovation (C&I) Unit.
She is responsible for identifying, validating and commercializing innovative product and service opportunities. Her first project is the breakthrough Advancing Technical Women program, launched in Spring 2018 and now offered globally. Patty also represents CCL and C&I in the Bay Area, working closely with clients in technology, healthcare and financial services, and with Women’s Leadership and other advocacy organizations.
Patty is an experienced technology executive who has served in global operational roles with large corporations and startups and as a consultant to venture capital firms, corporate innovation groups and technology startups.
She was founder and managing partner of Accelevate, an innovation consulting firm specialized in Lean Startup and was a Partner with Bell Mason Group, conducting corporate venture and innovation readiness assessments and innovation training. Consulting clients included Merck, Royal Philips, AmEx, CitiGroup, Coca-Cola, Siemens, Fujifilm, the American Heart Association among others. She was previously Vice President of Marketing for internet start-up Ramp Networks (acquired by Nokia), Corporate Vice President of Marketing for leading security software company Symantec, and a Partner with Regis McKenna Inc. in Palo Alto and GM of RMI’s Los Angeles office. Patty was also an instructor for the CalTech Industrial Relations Center Executive Education program.
