Situated at the heart of London Tech Week’s Flagship Exhibition, The IoT in Action Demo Zone provides an opportunity for attendees to explore how the internet of things - and the disruptive technologies that are enabling it – are converging to create a new world of efficiency, experience, and opportunity for those capable of harnessing them.

You can either attend the Demo Zone & check out all the latest technologies or you can demo a product to the 15,000+ attendees! Take your pick!

What will you discover?

Indoor positioning demo on an IoT Device: as one of the only companies to provide both indoor and outdoor location, Comtech Telecommunications uses advanced sensor fusion, ranging, and mapping algorithms to deliver precise, real time location even in areas without GPS or mapped Wi-Fi.

SAS Motor Pump Demo:  SAS will feature an interactive demo showcasing an industrial pump that illustrates asset performance assessment and predictive maintenance through vibration analysis at the edge.

NetFoundry / IIC TestBed

The demo focuses on connected commercial vehicles (in this case, a forklift used in factories, warehouses and distribution centers), delivering telemetry data for both fleet tracking and day-to-day operations management, as well as predictive analytics on the vehicle itself, with results sent to a 3rd party service provider for condition based maintained dispatch.

OneAtlas Digital Platform: a demonstration of how Airbus leverages OneAtlas to the provider, connecting the collected imagery from space to help make those important decisions on Earth.

Smart DS

Real World Training for Engineers using Holographic Assets and Mixed Reality

The SmartDS demonstration shows the training platform being used to train engineers around steam pressure systems, envisioned and commissioned by Bureau Veritas, a world leader in testing, inspection and certification of large industrial assets and equipment.

Line-us is a small new London based company; just two people Durrell Bishop and Robert Poll who have designed, developed and manufactured this unusual product - a small nicely-designed, internet connected robot drawing arm, born out of curiosity and passion for creative tools mixed with playful technology.

Using the latest VR to demonstrate Immersive Reality and Innovation in Consumer Banking.

IBM IoT Worker Insights puts compliance at the center of safety, making it easier to identify and eliminate hazards in the workplace, infusing cognitive computing into worker safety initiatives to enable greater use of digital data and drive toward more proactive and personalized safety programs. These initiatives help people apply real-time insights by putting time and place into context and understanding the characterizations between workers

Whether it be a new IoT platform and the ingenuity of its implementation, a unique and industry leading connected product, or an innovative use and integration of a series of connected solutions and services - this is where you will see them in action!

Separated into industry verticals, the demo zone will provide the chance for our audience to witness innovation in action and hear directly from the people that are making it happen.
