Lisa Peterson is a strategic marketing executive with a deep focus on data driven marketing and working with organizations to build sustainable businesses around the Internet of Things (IoT). She concentrates on how to deliver measurable results on all activities to elevate brands and drive sales.
In her current role with Gogo Business Aviation, Peterson is responsible for formulating the strategy and driving the execution of the company’s digital marketing efforts along with leading all product marketing initiatives. Additionally, she leads the company’s IoT and Connected Aircraft Services (CAS) strategy and execution, and all Gogo Web Services projects.
Prior to joining Gogo, she was the VP of Global Marketing for Arrow Electronics where she built the strategic marketing function and digital marketing groups, overseeing global creative services, events, digital marketing, social media, marketing operations and web development.
With a strong focus on building strategic marketing organizations, she has built and led global marketing teams for several other companies ranging in size from large scale global organizations to smaller, mid-size corporations. Typically helping teams evolve from traditional marketing to rich data-driven organizations hinged in customer insights. She was also a consultant with McKinsey & Company for nearly a decade in the strategy and marketing practices.
Lisa is a graduate of the University of Colorado and holds a B.S. in Finance, Marketing and International Business. She also earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. She currently resides in Denver, CO and enjoys playing soccer, traveling and brewing beer.
