Ash has over 12 years of experience assisting senior executives and investors with investment due diligence, corporate strategy, operational improvements, and product development. He was the first employee at CMA and has conducted over 200 projects with the firm, including financial and strategic due diligence assignments on over $35B of transactions, as well as go-to-market and product roadmap engagements generating over $3B in additional revenue for his clients. He has extensive experience throughout the IoT value chain in over 20 different IoT-related projects including investment due diligence, go-to-market planning, and product roadmap development ranging across value chain and market segments of the IoT market including device OEMs, MVNOs, network operators, application service providers, and solutions providers.
Prior to CMA, Ash ran the Cambridge Public Internet project – Cambridge’s muniwireless and digital inclusion project – and consulted to other municipal broadband projects, including OpenAirBoston and Wireless Harlem. In these roles, he developed unique community partnerships to support sustainable network deployments and led technology selection and development for low cost, user deployed, self-healing mesh networks. He also previously worked as an aerospace analyst for SAIC. Ash holds an executive MBA from Babson College, cum laude and a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
