Matthew McAllister is the Smart City Project Manager at the City and County of Denver. He leads up the city’s connected vehicle federal grant program, with projects focused on leveraging technology to improve congestion and safety. Denver is a close collaborator with the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center to deploy solutions for the commuting public that can scale across the country.
Prior to joining the team in Denver, Matthew served as the Special Assistant and Policy Advisor to the U.S. Chief Technology Officer in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy under President Obama. While in the administration, he also severed in roles at the Peace Corp’s Office of Innovation and in the Presidential Personnel Office.
