He is leading an emerging practice, Intelligent Places, to help executives and enterprises understand how the future of connected people, places, and things open new growth opportunities through design. Richard has consulted for Fortune 500 companies, governments, and NGOs at the intersection of design, strategy, and technology to create material transformations of business systems, employee experiences, and customer/community relationships. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor in the theory and practice of systems-oriented design strategy at the School of Visual Arts.
