Head of Cyber Intelligence, Strategy and Capability Development at the National Crime Agency, responsible for identifying and disrupting online criminals, protecting the public from cyber crime and responding to critical incidents and attacks. Leadership of over one hundred staff in the UK's National Cyber Crime Unit and overseas, including operational intelligence and strategic analysts, project delivery teams and partnerships and outreach specialists. Responsible for the resourcing and prioritisation of casework and online investigations, managing operational risk and defining the UK's cyber intelligence requirements.
Remit includes designing and delivering the UK's strategy for combating serious organised cyber crime, crime prevention to protect the public and businesses from cyber attacks and identifying online perpetrators. Partnerships and stakeholder engagement lead, including with the private sector, Policing and Governments across the world. Regular presenter and public speaker including across UK Policing, INTERPOL, Europol and other international events and banking and insurance sectors conferences, as well as live media appearances on ITV Good Morning, BBC and Sky News Radio.
Capability development lead for cyber crime, responsible for implementing a multi-million pound investment programme to transform cyber capability and skills across the NCA, UK Policing and international partners. Senior Responsible Owner for NCA cyber investments and lead for international capacity building, including overseas training and incident response exercising. Advisor to foreign governments on cyber capabilities and police transformation and UK representative at international forums and events, including the 2017 'Pearls in Policing' senior talent development programme.
