Raghu Rao is an experienced technologist and an expert on wireless and wired communication systems. He has held leadership positions in both engineering and business teams. He has been with Xilinx, and now AMD for more than 15 years. He is presently a Fellow, Product Engineering at AMD responsible for vRAN solutions. Raghu has a Ph.D. in Digital Communications from University of California, Los Angeles. He is also a Senior member of the IEEE and has 29 granted patents and has published numerous papers in peer reviewed IEEE journals and conferences and authored two book chapters. He has also presented numerous tutorials and webinars and participated on panels at leading conferences.
