Ram is the Senior Director of Private Mobility and Managed Edge at VMware, where he leads the development of the VMware Private Mobile Network. Prior to this, Ram led VMware's vCloud NFV product management team, bringing several compute and network virtualization innovations to the VMware telco platform. Ram has extensive telco and networking experience from his previous roles at companies like Ciena, Juniper, Openwave Systems, and Bytemobile, making him a thought leader in the telecommunications industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, India, and a master’s degree in business administration from Haas School of Business, Berkeley.
