Ruby WaxFounder at Frazzled Cafe
Ruby trained as an actress and joined the RSC in 1977, followed by twenty-five successful years with the BBC. She gained a Masters in Psychotherapy & Counselling, followed by a Masters in Mindfulness Based-Cognitive Therapy from Oxford University in 2013.
She has two Honorary Doctorates, a Visiting Professorship and is Chancellor of Southampton University. Ruby’s best-selling books include Sane New World, A Mindfulness Guide for the Frazzled and How To Be Human. Her theatre shows tour internationally, with her show How to Be Human running in the West End in 2019.
Ruby is Patron and Founder of the charity, Frazzled Cafes, in partnership with Marks and Spencer. In 2015 she was awarded an OBE for her work in mental health.
