Zac Prunty is the Smart Connected Factory Execution Lead at John Deere Harvester Works, where he is responsible for manufacturing technology, digitalization, and data & analytics strategy. Zac works cross functionally within the operations, engineering, and software teams within the factory to ensure alignment and priority of all strategic projects in the manufacturing technology space. Additionally, Zac serves as a direct link to John Deere's Enterprise Manufacturing Technologies team to partner on developing new innovative solutions that will ultimately end up in our facilities and drive value to the bottom line. Zac has 16 years experience at Deere with a majority of the time spent in various manufacturing engineering roles of progressive responsibility. Notably, Zac served as a primary team member implementing the very first private LTE cellular network at a John Deere manufacturing facility where he is actively scaling connectivity to date. Zac has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a M.S. in Business Analytics from the University of Iowa.
