Julien MeuricExpert - Future Networks at Orange
Julien Meuric graduated from the French engineering school “Ecole Nationale Superieure des Sciences Appliquees et de Technologie" (ENSSAT). After various activities on packet networks, he joined Orange Labs (France) in 2004, where he has worked on metropolitan and optical transport networks. His research interests include control plane integration in transmission networks (such as SDH and WDM) and interactions with packet layers. As a standardization senior manager, he contributes to coordinating the standardization of transport network technologies and is personally involved in standardization around GMPLS control protocols in corresponding IETF working groups (TEAS, CCAMP, L1VPN, MPLS...). Besides technical contributions, he has been acting since 2009 in the IETF as a co-chairman of the Path Computation Element (PCE) working group, and was involved in some PCE-related European projects such as ETICS and PACE. He has been an "Orange Expert on Future Networks" since 2015.
