Chris Cholas is a Service Provider focused solutions architect at Intel. Chris focuses on the end-to-end access and premise architecture for Fixed Wireless Access including 5G, FTTH, DOCSIS and more, bringing a service provider view to the technology, products and services that Intel offers. Chris has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and cable industries. Prior to Intel, Chris was VP of Premise Technology at Time Warner Cable, responsible for all voice, video and data premise equipment and software. He architected and deployed the DOCSIS 3.0 migration, implemented IP-based multi-room DVR, led industry standards efforts, and developed the IP video transitions. He has deployed more than 28 million CPE devices, shares a Technical Emmy at Time Warner Cable for Multi-room DVR and has been awarded 38 patents.
