Denise Culver has more than 20 years of experience in telecom and technology research and writing. Her current research focuses on how T&M vendors are addressing changes in telco networks brought about by automation and virtualization. Additionally, she leads research into customer experience management and customer analytics of networks and services, customer care, billing and marketing. Denise also manages Heavy Reading's Thought Leadership Council, which uses a focus-group approach to glean insights from CSPs on automation, IoT, 5G, B/OSS transformation, SD-WAN and emerging technologies. She also oversees development of Light Reading's Testapedia and Virtuapedia projects. Her career in technology journalism began in 1996 as a freelance writer for such publications as Inter@ctive Week, tele.com, InformationWeek and Perspectives on Public Communication. She was the Markets Section Editor for The Net Economy, and she spent seven years as a contributing analyst for Heavy Reading, covering an array of mobile technologies, IP transformation and T&M.
