Profile
She is the Head, Corporate Affairs at Natcom Development & Investment Ltd (trading as ntel). Her department is in charge of the regulatory and government relations of the company and also in charge of community relations. She joined ntel in 2015 when the company initially started, as the Head, Commercial Contracts where she was responsible for developing, drafting and reviewing the commercial contracts. She was the first lawyer in the Legal Affairs department and was part of the team that developed the Equipment supply and installation Agreements with major OEMs.
Prior to joining ntel, she was also the Head, Legal and Regulatory at the Nigerian office of the largest telecommunication infrastructure company in Africa, IHS Africa for some years. She also worked previously at the law firm of Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie and when she was in the United States she worked with SunTrust Bank. Mrs. Ajala also lectures from time to time at the Centre for Law and Business. She has had several years of experience in corporate and commercial practice, regulatory, government affairs and in management.
Adejumoke Ajala had her first law degree at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and her Master’s degree at Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA where she majored in banking and finance law. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2005. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK (Nigerian branch) and a member of OHADA.
