Tarik BourquouquouInternational Business Development Manager at MASEN
Tarik is Masen’s International Business Development Manager since 2018.
He leads a team dedicated to identifying, assessing and securing business opportunities through various channels, mainly for the African market. He is responsible for leveraging long term partnerships, developing a strong network and responding to international tenders to develop projects in cooperation with local and international institutions and deliver technical assistance services.
These technical assistance services include, among others, resource assessment, development studies, technical design, structuring, construction and commissioning, as well as operations and Maintenance.
In terms of technologies, his scope covers all technologies, notably solar, wind and hydro and focuses on knowledge sharing for the benefit of the local stakeholders.
From 2014 to 2018, he was Planning and Methods Manager. He led a team dedicated to planning and procedure-related activities within the Power Plants and Infrastructure Division. As such, he was working throughout the life cycle of power plant and infrastructure projects, overseeing the planning of renewable energy projects, and by developing procedures for building and commissioning the power plants and infrastructure projects. He was also in charge of dashboards to oversee the progress of projects in line with the required standards.
Tarik has focused his career on the energy sector, and more specifically the oil and gas industry. He worked for the ENI Saipem Group for nearly eight years, where he was involved in major projects all over the world, as Site Material Manager and Expediting Procurement Project Manager for major facilities for multiple partners including Total, CNRL, Sonatrach, Petrobras and Exxon.
Tarik graduated in Information Systems engineering from the University of Technology of Troyes (UTC Compiègne Group). He also holds a degree in business intelligence from Grenoble School of Management.
Tarik is married and a father of two children.
