Elyes Jeribi

SVP at Jumia Pay Business Services

Elyes joined Jumia in 2017, where he is serving as SVP JumiaPay Business Services. He was the CEO of Jumia Tunisia from 2019 until 2022. He also was CEO of Jumia Algeria from 2018 until 2019. He began his career at McKinsey & Company in 2008 covering multiple industries in both Western Europe and North Africa. In 2011, he joined the first Tunisian government after the revolution as an advisor to the minister of infrastructure and transport. In 2012, he co-founded an IT startup between Tunisia and France. He moved back to the government to launch the Smart Tunisia project aiming to create 50,000 jobs with a total investment of 500 M€. Elyes is a French-Tunisian national with a Master of Science from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, France, and a Master of Science from Ecole des Mines in Paris, France.
