Nawal Sefrioui

CEO at Orange Money Maroc

Nawal is the CEO of Orange Money Maroc since its creation in 2019. She has led the mobile money project since its very first start. Nawal was previously in charge of program management of large strategic projects in Orange Morocco. Rebranding to Orange was one of the most exciting projects she has carried with great success.Prior to that, she was in charge of Data Value added services marketing including 3G mobile internet and messaging.

Nawal has also played a key role in developing mobile content services in Morocco as content and partnership manager. Nawal has over 23 years of experience, 18 in telecommunication sector.In parallel to her professional career, Nawal is also an active member of many associations. She is treasurer of the APEP (Payment Establishments Professional association) and AIEM President (Mohammadia School of Engineering Alumni network).

Last year, Nawal was recipient of the North Africa Com Female Innovative of the year award and was appointed as Morocco Country chair of Engineering within the prestigious G100 Club.
Nawal holds an engineering degree in computer science from Mohammadia School of Engineering and an MBA in finance and marketing from Wayne State University (Fulbright scholar). Nawal is mother of two kids and is passionate about running and hiking.
