Rana Abdel Latif is currently a Senior Principal responsible for the deployment of the newly launched Nclude Fintech Fund investing in fintech and fintech enabled startups in Egypt. Before joining in April 2022, Rana was a Principal at Qalaa Holdings (formerly known as Citadel Capital), an African leader in infrastructure and energy. During her 12+ years at Qalaa, Rana led several M&A and financing transactions including the acquisition and divestiture of Qena Cement (EGP 700 million), divestiture of ASEC Minya Cement and ASEC Ready Mix (EGP 1.0 billion), as well as raising debt and equity project finance from DFIs and private investors for portfolio company investment. She was also actively managing portfolio companies within the cement, transportation, mining and waste management industries. Previously, Rana worked at Beltone Asset Management as a banking Analyst for North Africa and Levant as well as an Analyst for the equity capital market division at ABN Amro Rothschild in London.
As of 2020 to present, Rana serves as a Board Member in Falak Startups and is a mentor to tech-enabled startups enrolled in the Cairo Angels / EG Bank MINT Accelerator in Egypt.
Rana is currently completing a joint Executive MBA program between Columbia Business School and London Business School and graduating December 2022.
