Samia El Hanchi is an innovation and customer experience expert. She is currently a Senior Manager Strategy at Orange Morocco. She oversees strategic program management, Innovation process and governance, and leading transformation.
Samia has 21 years of experience, starting as an IT network engineer in a large industrial group, then as a technical account manager for an IT services company. Samia joined Meditel during its launch as the second telco in Morocco where she managed new products development, before moving to the UAE as a business development manager for a content services startup. Back to Morocco , she started the first Project management office in Meditel (Now Orange Morocco) and the first customer testing center. She contributed to the customer centric strategy and led many transformation programs.
Samia Holds a PHD in startups and innovation management, a computer science engineering degree from Ecole Mohammadia, and an MBA from Strathclyde University, UK. She detains a project and program management certification from Ecole Polytechnique Executive Education as well as a PMP from the Project Management Institute.
Samia is a fellow of the US based Techwomen program. She was the president of Women Engineers Club, an alumni network of more than 2500 female engineers, dedicated to women leadership development and girls STEM education.
