Raquel Morera is an Associate Fellow at Verizon. She is a technical lead in E2E Architecture Planning. During the last two years she has designed technical solutions to support Verizon's network transformation with an E2E view. She is a well recognized expert. She has pioneered much of the Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Orchestration work at Verizon and the industry. Raquel founded ETSI NFV Management and Orchestration (MANO) WG and led the team during its first four years. She has an extended track record of standards contributions and participation. Raquel has a PhD from Strathclyde University (Scotland)on Mobile Communications.
