The judges will be looking for evidence of innovative sourcing models balancing the transition from traditional procurement to ‘as-a-service’ consumption models. Also, opportunities where the organization leveraged cloud to deliver digital services based on scale up and down business demands during peak operating periods for example.
Enabling the organization to use big data, analytics and artificial intelligence as change agents for digital transformation.
The judges will be looking for evidence where the application of big data, analytics, and artificial intelligence/machine learning enabled a digital approach to providing organization-wide business insights.
Adopting next-generation social, collaboration and productivity tools to meet the needs of an empowered workforce
The judges are looking to see organizations who have looked to deliver empowered digital employee experiences that support both direct and indirect digital customer experiences.
Creating an effective framework for security and risk management to protect and enhance business performance
The judges are looking for inspiring examples of how organizations have identified and managed the important role of cybersecurity from the c-suite to the IT functions whilst delivering fast and flexible digital business services.
Applying modern development practices to enable effective software delivery as a core business capability
The judges will be looking for innovative uses of how Agile and DevOps have been integrated successfully into organizations and the deliverables they have provided to business functions.
Using data generated by the ever-growing matrix of connected ‘things’ to transform business processes
IoT has the potential to expose new forms of data insight for an organization and allow for new methods of engagement with both customers and employees. The judges will be looking for innovative use cases within industries that have potential to positively disrupt business operating models.
Combining multiple data sources and interaction types to deliver and monetize a seamless multi-channel customer experience
The judges are looking for examples of how organizations have improved customer experience across varied business functions to provide seamless and low-friction experiences to consumers/clients/citizens
Submissions for the awards will be accepted until the 8th of September. The shortlist will be announced on the 15th of September. The winner for each category will be announced on the evening of the awards, the first day of the Ovum Industry Congress, 10th of October.
There is no cost to the vendor or customer to apply for the Awards under one or more of the categories below.
All entries must be submitted online by the 8th September 2017.

Attempts to further influence the judges that are part of the Awards Judges Board by any means outside of, or in addition to, the Official Entry may result in disqualification.

The Winners will be announced during the “On The Radar” Awards on 10th of October 2017 and not before, and in the Winners Press Release announced the following day. Winners must be present at the Awards to receive their trophy and award.
