The judges will be looking for evidence where the application of big data, analytics, and artificial intelligence/machine learning enabled a digital approach to providing organization-wide business insights.

IoT has the potential to expose new forms of data insight for an organization and allow for new methods of engagement with both customers and employees. The judges will be looking for innovative use cases within industries that have potential to positively disrupt business operating models.

Customer Experience

Combining multiple data sources and interaction types to deliver and monetize a seamless multi-channel customer experience

Category Judge

  • Jeremy Cox, Principal Analyst, Ovum

The judges are looking for examples of how organizations have improved customer experience across varied business functions to provide seamless and low-friction experiences to consumers/clients/citizens

Deadlines and Key Dates

Submissions for the awards will be accepted until the 8th of September. The shortlist will be announced on the 15th of September. The winner for each category will be announced on the evening of the awards, the first day of the Ovum Industry Congress, 10th of October.

There is no cost to the vendor or customer to apply for the Awards under one or more of the categories below.

Terms and Conditions

Who can apply and attend the Awards
  • All entries must be submitted via the online submission form
  • Only fully completed entry forms will be accepted.
  • Who can apply:
    • End-users of Technology (enterprises) can submit their applications for the best use case of technology deployment
    • Vendors can nominate their customers for the best usage and deployment of their technology
  • There is no cost to the vendor or customer to enter the awards
  • Nominated enterprises can attend the awards ceremony at no cost by applying for a free pass here
  • Vendors can pay to get a full OIC pass here
Entry forms

The Entry Form with your logo, photos and/or links represent the full and entire Official Entry. No further information is required. Attempts to further influence the judges that are part of the Awards Judges Board by any means outside of, or in addition to, the Official Entry may result in disqualification.

On receipt of your entry, the awards administrators will confirm its arrival via e-mail. If you do not obtain such a receipt within 3 days, it is your responsibility to contact us to confirm its arrival. Unless you have this written or verbal confirmation from us, we cannot guarantee the arrival of your entry.  Please direct any enquiries to

The Winners will be announced during the “On The Radar” Awards on 10th of October 2017 and not before, and in the Winners Press Release announced the following day. Winners must be present at the Awards to receive their trophy and award.

Winners will:

  • Receive a Winner’s Trophy presented at the Awards networking evening on the 10th of October 2017
  • Receive a Winners photo of the presentation of the Awards
  • Be included in the “On The Radar” Awards press release
  • Be featured on the Ovum Industry Congress Awards web page as Winners
  • Be featured in an “On The Radar” Award Winners HTML posted to the full Ovum Industry Congress mailing list
  • Be able to use “On The Radar” Award Winners logo and icon on their own promotional materials.
