Katarina has 15 years of professional experience in energy sector from government & consulting in Europe, Middle East & South-East Asia. Katarina excels in execution, where she can manage multiple work streams and teams in changing conditions.

In South-East Asia, she has been covering power sector developments with focus on renewable energy and off-grid electrification, with regular presence in Philippines and Vietnam. Her business development work also covered Indonesia, Bangladesh, India and in Myanmar. In Dubai, Katarina worked for the government body in charge of energy and supported launch of demand side management strategy for the Emirate. She spent 5 years with the European Commission working on a mix of internal and external policies related to security of EU’s energy supply, renewable energy and energy efficiency. 

Her experience is in project management, business development and has led cross-departmental, cross-cultural as well as virtual teams in Asia, Middle East and Europe. 

Katarina is on the Board of the Alliance for Rural Electrification (Industry association, HQ in Belgium) and Female Founders (Non-profit, HQ in Singapore). She has global network in energy-related government authorities & industry across Europe, Middle East & South-East Asia. She holds Global Executive MBA from Insead.

Her most recent work include renewable energy market study in one of the GCC countries, renewable energy market report in South-East and Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Central Asia and Russian Federation and workshop on off-grid rural electrification for government officials from South and South-East Asia.
