Q1: What are you most looking forward to with regards to participating at Service Delivery Innovation Summit on 27-28 September in London?

"It will be interesting to see how the industry has mastered to climb the digital stairs beyond of just digitize their existing business models. And of course, I'll always gain some expertise from colleagues doing great work in so many different ways and fields."                                                           

Q2: You will be speaking at the conference in your Keynote on Day One - could you please give us a little bit of insight into the topic of your presentation?

"The goal of the presentation's to deliver a "real experience" about how to address some of the "buzz words" such as agile organization, innovation management, failure culture or  people empowerment. Some of the learnings and key factors for our success today might give some insights and inspiration for some of my colleagues facing a similar journey." 

Q3: What would you say are the key factors to success for digital transformation?

"I'll just point out the most important one: CULTURE, and then we talk about people. It doesn't matter what else you do if the culture does not get into a fit for the companies needs, ore better said, for the market- and client needs." 

Q4: How can telcos stay relevant and maximise revenues in the new, digital era?

"Looking also beyond and away from their core business, not only protecting it and enhancing a little bit revenue chains, this is doing every company anyway. My tip: Telcos should try to estimate what they would do with the company if Telecommunications/Connectivity/Infrastrucure would not be their business anymore in 10 years and therefore figuring out ways for completely new ways of business. Some Telcos like Swisscom are doing just that, some already compensated over 40% of their lost traditional business with new business fields and therefore show an impressive growth in revenue, EBITDA etc.."
