Heinrich Arnold leads the Corporate Research and Innovation at Deutsche Telekom AG. As the head of Telekom Innovation Laboratories (T-Labs) with locations in Israel, Silicon Valley and Germany (Headquarter/ Berlin), he is proud to hold high the banner of innovation in the heart of Europe. Currently, he focuses on secure communication, new media, data analytics, m2m, cloud, and network infrastructure.
This pioneering work at T-Labs helps Telekom to explore new business opportunities, next-generation infrastructures or to establish new subsidiaries like Motionlogic or Benocs.Before joining Deutsche Telekom AG he worked for Mercer Management Consulting, now Oliver Wyman, and as a member of the management team of the German/ Chinese research company Bicoll. He also was engaged in business start-ups in United States and Taiwan.
Heinrich Arnold studied Technical Physics at the Technical University of Munich. He graduated with a Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University, a Master of Business Research from Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich and MIT, as well as a Ph.D. summa cum laude in technology management. Heinrich Arnold is lecturer in Innovation Management and author of the scientific book „Technology Shocks" on the management of radical technological change. He is a member of the management board of Müncher Kreis, member of the Feldafinger Kreis, curator at Fraunhofer and Max-Planck-Gesellschaft and has been appointed to the Young Global, European, and national Leader Forums of the BMW Quandt Foundation.
Heinrich Arnold is married and has two sons.
