Announcing IoT World Virtual. No Travel Required.

As the world has continued to adapt over the past few months, we have been continuously reviewing the best ways to serve the IoT community.

We believe the need for the IoT community to connect, inform and innovate is stronger than ever and we are committed to providing you this platform.

With the prospect of physical gatherings unlikely in the coming months, we are excited to announce the launch of IoT World Virtual, a two-day virtual experience to be held August 11-12, 2020 that will allow our entire global community to participate.

Meanwhile, we are rescheduling our in-person version of IoT World & the 2020 Silicon Valley AgTech Conference to 2021 and it will now take place at the Santa Clara Convention Center, April 26, 2021.

IoT World Virtual will deliver the same, high-quality content including world renowned keynotes, conference tracks, training's, workshops, roundtables and working groups that you were looking forward to at this year’s in-person event. We are also excited for the opportunity to provide new innovative networking opportunities through data driven networking engagements across various new virtual formats.

We believe in the power of gathering our community to share, inspire, and strengthen our industry, and are committed to continue this through our media brand, IoT World Today, and now through our IoT World Series of virtual events, too.

Stay tuned for more information about IoT World Virtual (August 11-12, 2020) very soon.

MARCH 11 UPDATE: THE SILICON VALLEY AGTECH CONFERENCE AND INTERNET OF THINGS WORLD IS OFFICIALLY POSTPONED UNTIL AUGUST 10-13, 2020

On March 09, The County of Santa Clara issued an order to cancel gatherings over 1,000 attendees up until April 01, 2020. On March 10, the local state of emergency was extended to April 09, but the order on cancelling large gatherings remains at April 01.

Despite the Silicon Valley AgTech Conference and IoT World occurring after the timeframe of the current order, the situation around COVID-19 is evolving rapidly as are your corporate travel considerations. After close consultation with our partners in the IoT community, and as part of our Managed Postponement Program we have made the difficult decision to postpone Internet of Things World and reschedule for August 10-13, 2020.

Having spent the past year preparing for the event with our advisors, speakers, exhibitors and event partners, we’re genuinely disappointed not to be able to host you as planned in April, but the experience and safety of our community and everyone involved in the event continues to be our top priority.

The Silicon Valley AgTech Conference and IoT World has officially been rescheduled to the dates of Monday August 10 – Thursday August 13, 2020 at the San Jose Convention Center. Exhibitors, Speakers and Attendees will be contacted imminently with further information.

We understand there will be a lot of questions and concerns following this announcement. For attendees, we will automatically transfer your registration to the August event. For questions and concerns, please contact iotevent@informa.com.

For exhibitors and sponsors, we will transfer your program to the August event. Your Account Manager will be reaching out personally this week to discuss your immediate questions. We continue to work diligently to ensure all details are buttoned down and we thank you for your patience.

As always, we would like to thank everyone who helps to make the event possible and recognize that our event does not happen without your support. We appreciate the open discussions and encouragement. The conversations we’ve had over the last several days have proven how lucky we all are to be part of this supportive industry.

Thank you,

Zach Butler, Portfolio Director, IoT, Informa Tech

Exhibitor Shipment Info

NOTE: If you have any freight that is scheduled to arrive at the Show Site address, we recommend that you call your carrier as soon as possible to redirect the shipment.
We are working closely with Freeman to determine the necessary steps regarding return shipments. We expect to have guidance from Freeman soon and will promptly share this with our exhibitors as soon as the information is available.

What happens with my orders with official show vendors such as Freeman, Visit/GES (registration/lead retrieval) and Metro MultiMedia AV:

We are working with our vendor partners to finalize details around these orders. It may take a bit of time to provide the official processes, so we appreciate your patience as we work through finalizing what will hopefully be a smooth transition for these orders.

I have already shipped my freight to the Freeman Advance Warehouse. How can I get this freight returned?

We are working with Freeman to establish processes regarding handling exhibitor freight. There may be an option to store freight at the Freeman Advance Warehouse until the show, however those options are still being reviewed. We will share these details with you as soon as they become available.
