Andrew began his modern farming journey in 2015 as a volunteer for The Association for Vertical Farming, and later on, he became Director of Business Development for Agritecture Consulting. During his time with those organizations, Andrew consulted or worked with many notable organizations including Microsoft, IKEA, Coca-Cola, Philips, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Southern Company, Square Roots, Crop One, LACI, Plenty, and Aerofarms. In 2018, Andrew co-founded inHouse Produce, an agtech company that reimagines the farm-to-table experience by distributing automated vertical gardens right in the dining area of food-service establishments.
