A career that could be summarized as being a “bridge” between technology and every day production agriculture. Beginning with running a family owned ag services company, specialized in managing highly specialized ag machinery incorporating electronics, hydraulics, micro-processing, optics, design and fabrication, this provided the launch pad to work with many developing ag technologies, and boots-on -the-ground contact with farmers. Daily life has always been busy with developing solutions, married with an attitude of long-range vision for truly building business. His passion is helping agriculturists operate more efficiently while getting a better grasp on quantifying every part of their operation.

Early in his career he had the privilege to be part of the team that was the first to successfully develop GPS AutoSteer for tractors and bring it to market, AutoFarm. Later, in a similar role he was a regional product specialist for Deere with their precision farming product line. Anxious to get back to being on the ground floor of developing technologies, he was the Field Operations Manager for Blue River Technologies as they developed their computer vision/ machine learning solutions. Presently, Special Projects Manager for California Ag Solutions, a company specializing in providing growers solutions for producing healthy soils and crops.
