Tim Davis has been a member of the City of Tallahassee’s technical staff since 2009. He serves as the Interim Chief Information Officer of the Technology and Innovation department. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the planning, development, delivery, and monitoring of technical solutions. Prior to joining the City, he held several information technology leadership roles in both the private and government sectors. He enjoys fostering a culture of collaboration and views technology as a service providing business value opportunities through innovation. He currently provides leadership for the continued development of a secure, robust, and innovative information technology environment that meets the City’s needs and supports its strategic initiatives. He holds a Master’s in system engineering and Bachelor’s in computer engineering from the FAMU/FSU College of Engineering. He holds a variety of technical and professional certificates in Six Sigma, process improvement, project management, and public administration.
