Catherine Van Aken has 25 years of international business development, marketing and sales experience in the Telecom and High-Tech industries. She first held various regional leadership positions with Telecom giant Alcatel-Lucent (acquired by Nokia in 2016) based out of Singapore, Johannesburg and Antwerp.
After Alcatel, Catherine joined Capgemini Consulting to focus on technology-driven transformation projects as a management consultant. She set up her own consulting company based in Brussels to help clients navigate the complex tech scene as it impacted their business head-on.
In 2015, she moved back to the corporate world, joining Technicolor’s Connected Home division and moving to Silicon Valley to focus on building Go-To-Market strategies for the Internet of Things in the nascent market of the intelligent home.
Catherine holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business from Solvay Business School in Brussels. She was awarded “Laureate of the Prince Albert Fund” by the King of Belgium in 1998 and completed the Alcatel-Lucent high potential MBA program at Manchester Business School in 2006.
