Chris Commons is Vice President of Global Software at Sound United. Chris has been involved in defining, developing, and delivering digital media management systems and Internet connected consumer audio/video product since the early 90’s. Chris was a founder of Escient Technologies and the inventor of the TunBase and FireBall media management products. Chris then worked for D&M Holdings helping develop and deliver the HEOS line of products and IoT technologies integrated into most Denon and Marantz product categories. Prior to working in the Consumer Electronics industry, Chris spent 10 years developing advanced weapons systems for the Department of Defense. Chris has a BSEE degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Butler University.
