Based in Mountain View, CA, US, a nearly ten-year veteran of Nest and Google, Grant was a founding engineer at Nest and led technical development of Nest’s embedded and connectivity solutions.

Today, Grant helps lead connectivity technology strategy, including Thread and Weave, at Google Nest under Google’s Devices and Services product area.

In addition, Grant is Google’s primary Board representative to and is also President of the Thread Group.
