Syed Zaeem Hosain ‘Z’ is responsible for the architecture and future direction of Aeris' networks, development programs, and technology strategy. He is focused on, and greatly involved, in the development of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) networks, IoT applications, and cellular technologies for enterprises, original equipment manufacturers, and services providers.

Hosain actively contributes to leading-edge, IoT industry bodies, holding the positions of:

• Chairman Emeritus of the IoT M2M Council (IMC);
• Chairman of the International Forum on ANSI-41 Standards Technology (IFAST); and
• Member of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA); and OneM2M, the global IoT standards initiative.

Hosain is the author of “The Definitive Guide: The Internet of Things for Business, Second Edition.”
